Trees for the Future (TREES) is on a mission to end hunger and poverty by training farmers to regenerate their land. With over 31 years of experience, TREES has planted more than 190 million trees around the world. Today, TREES staff work with farmers in sub-Saharan Africa, improving the lives and land of more than 150,000 people.

TREES’ Forest Garden Approach is based in agroforestry and sustainable farming practices. The average Forest Garden is home to 2,500 trees as well as dozens of other plant species and food crops. By teaching farmers to protect their land and plant a variety of trees, food, and resources over a four-year period, TREES is helping families improve their nutrition and incomes, all while repairing the planet.

Farming families in TREES’ Forest Garden program are proving that trees and sustainable farming practices have the power to restore the planet, change lives, improve nutrition, support communities, empower women, and offer a brighter future for children.

We’re thrilled to have you on board!
